Connect mag drill power cord to power supply and activate the magnet (refer to owners manual)
Ensure that the area where the Vac-Pad is to be placed is free of dust and other debris
Connect the Vac-Pad air inlet to a filtered air supply. Maximum operating pressure is 120 psi and minimum pressure is 65 psi. At 85 psi the Vac-Pad consumes 2 cfm
Turn air inlet valve to "On" position as noted in Fig. 2 and place Vac-Pad on work surface with cutter and pilot at desired point
Press down on Vac-Pad to fully open bottom vacuum valve showing red indicator in the sight glass assuring Vac-Pad is holding to surface (any air heard escaping to the atmosphere should be coming from the exhaust chamber only)
Turn drill motor on and cut hole (refer to owners manual)
After drilling operation is complete, and motor is turned off (magnet maybe be left energized), press the manual release button (See Fig.2) or press the filter cleaning valve located on the side (See Fig. 1) to release Vac-Pad for repositioning. This valve should be used regularly to clean vacuum filter in base
